Word of Mouth
“Chris was great-she was very calm and not the slightest bit judgmental. She knew what I wanted but also helped evaluate the realities of the situation I was facing. She also came to visit with me after the baby was born. It was so nice to talk through the whole experience with someone who was there. She was very calm and reassuring throughout and that was exactly what I needed. I would totally recommend her to others!”
”Chris exceeded our expectations. She provided support, guidance, and reassurance exactly when and where my husband and I needed it, without being overbearing or burdensome. She willingly communicated the news to our family so that we didn't have to worry about it. We are very thankful for our experience with Chris at the birth of our son!"
"She provided support not only to me but my entire family. Just what we were looking for!"
"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris! For starters, I knew instantly that Chris was going to be our doula the moment I met her — truly such a warm, personable and caring individual. Chris was with me every step of the way for my birth journey. I seriously had the birth labor and delivery thanks to Chris knowing exactly what to do and how to help me navigate in the moment. We also hired Chris for postpartum services where she came by the house several days a week after our baby was born to help us get acclimated, help with taking care of the house, and certainly made sure I was fed (the little snack packs were awesome)! I would hire Chris a thousand times over and would never attempt another birth without her. Chris is forever in our hearts and we are grateful for all of her knowledge, resources and attention she gave us before, during and after our baby arrived. 10/10!!"
"Our 3 adult children are adopted so we have no experience with labor, delivery or newborn care. Our first grandchild is expected soon. So my husband and I engaged Chris for two 2 hour sessions in our home. Chris explained all the highlights of what we might expect and current practices. She left us with excellent, up to date resources, several of which we shared with appreciative parents to be. We really can’t say enough about Chris’ professionalism, effective and engaging teaching style and generous spirit. As grandparents, we now feel equipped to offer capable assistance and loving presence to new mother, father and grand baby. Thanks Chris!"
"Chris is extremely knowledgeable about all things birth and postpartum care. She is very warm and trustworthy, and she came highly recommended to me by multiple people!!"
